Position Overview:

The Medical Information Officer plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the quality and governance of medical data, spearheading research and development initiatives, and guiding our product development and technological architecture. The ideal candidate will have a robust clinical background combined with deep expertise in health informatics, product development, and medical ontologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve medical data quality and ensure data integrity across platforms.
  • Oversee and direct research and development projects, aligning them with organizational goals and innovation pathways.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement next-generation health tech products and solutions.
  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for technology adoption and data-driven decision-making within the organization.
  • Develop and manage medical ontologies that enhance data interoperability and usability.
  • Establish and foster partnerships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, research institutions, and industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in medical data management and informatics.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification.
  • Advanced degree or certification in Health Informatics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product development, R&D, and technological architecture in a health tech setting.
  • Strong knowledge and application of medical ontologies and data governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
